The legality rating is a tool introduced by the Italian government in 2012 with the aim of incentivizing the adoption of ethical principles and transparent behavior in companies. Established by Article 5-ter of Decree-Law No. 1/2012, it aims to measure compliance with legality standards and reward companies that demonstrate virtuous business management.
The companies Hisi S.r.l., Genesi Genesi Uno S.p.A., and Genesi Due S.p.A. applied to theCompetition and Market Authority, which, once examined, promoted them with a high score, considering the maximum obtainable of three stars:
Hisi Ltd. ★★++
Genesi Uno S.p.A. ★★+
Genesi Due S.p.A. ★★+
An important certification for society, as the Legality Rating is a summary indicator of compliance with high standards of legality by companies that have applied for it. Active since the beginning of 2013, it rewards those companies that comply with the law, are transparent and operate according to sound ethical principles.
It is a certification that indicates the level of compliance with legality and the proper and ethical conduct of their business.
The Legality Rating guarantees advantages to companies that manage to obtain it, both from a reputational and competitive point of view, since it is recognized by law:
- by the Public Administrations in issuing calls for tenders, granting preference in the ranking and an additional score;
- by the new Procurement Code, which includes it as a reward criterion in the evaluation of the tender offer.
It will therefore give HISI a competitive advantage in upcoming projects, confirming its excellence.
