Empoli Salute S.p.A. is a project company created in 2009. It has entered into a concession contract with theUSL 11 of Empoli aimed at the design and implementation of an intervention for the completion, reconversion and renovation of 2 existing buildings of theEmpoli Hospital, to be used for supporting healthcare activities. In addition, it is aimed at the construction of a new building to be used for commercial activities, a cogeneration plant and other interventions for the energy needs of the hospital building. The concession includes the management of maintenance services and utilities until 2037, and other non-health services (cleaning, laundry, catering, sterilization) until 2033.

Under an O&M contract , the Company entrusted the operational management of the complex for the entire duration of the concession to the consortium company Empoli Salute Gestioni Scarl, which is substantially related to Finso Spa and Sof Spa (Fincantieri Group).
