S.ENE.CA. s.r.l. is a project company created in 2007. It stipulated, with theCareggi University Hospital in Florence , the concession contract aimed at the support and support interventions to the building and plant reorganization processes (upgrading plant networks, power plants, tunnels and cogeneration) and multi-year management of the energy production plant at the Careggi Hospital. The construction of the facility was carried out by Inso (now Finso), while the industrial management of the project was entrusted, through an O&M contract, to Sof Spa together with Siram Veolia S.p.A. (Siram is among the leading operators in Italy in energy efficiency and heat management services, part of the French Veolia group). Management of the cogeneration power plant was started in July 2013, for a Concession term of 20 years. In addition to the management of the power plant, the project also includes the management and operation of the facilities required to ensure safety and redundancy in case of failures
